Flax Fix

I found a new additive for my afternoon smoothie... Coming in at 270 calories I find this TOTALLY worth it :)
- 1 scoop whey protein (vanilla)
- 1 cup silk vanilla light
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/3 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp flax seed....
Can you say yummmmmy? Even in the winter drinking this in the afternoon I'm full until dinner. :)

Another Green Secret

Mmm... When I want a filling, decadent, sweet smoothly? Say yes to pb, banana, spinach and soy milk and hello to satisfaction. Whoop whoop. :)
- 1 tbs peanut butter ( its enough I promise)
- 1 banana frozen or not, your call
- cup or so of soy milk
- handful of spinach

Lean Green Machine

If I could have the same green juice, every single day, I would. But since the health experts recommend varying our diet, I try and do that. This is my green smoothie when I'm too lame to pull out the juicer or if I want some banana in it since banana doesn't exactly juice well...
• a cup or a little more of apple juice
• a frozen banana
• handful of baby spinach
Blend... And consume. You're now officially ready to tackle the rest of your day :)
